Sohail Ashraf is the new Chief Commissioner of Islamabad

In the new development, the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad has been changed. According to the media reports, Lt. (Retd.) Sohail Ashraf is the new Chief Commissioner of the capital city. He was serving early as a BS-20 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Services under the Punjab government.

Earlier, Muhammad Ali Randhawa was serving as the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad. He was also the chairman of the Capital Development Authority(CDA).

The Establishment Division issued a formal notification for Sohail Ashraf’s posting.

Earlier, Ashraf served as Secretary of Communication and Works, Punjab and held key administrative roles, including Deputy Commissioner in Faisalabad and Gujranwala, as well as DG PDMA and DG Industries.
