Sui Gas authorities have announced a revised gas supply schedule across various parts of Karachi, impacting daily routines for thousands of residents.
According to the new timetable by Sui Southern, gas supply will be available during three specific time slots: morning hours from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM, midday from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and evening from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The updated schedule will affect several densely populated areas, including North Karachi, Malir, Orangi, and Gulshan-e-Iqbal, among others. Residents in these localities have been advised to adjust their cooking and household activities in line with the new timings to avoid inconvenience.
Officials have stated that the revised schedule is part of ongoing efforts to manage gas distribution more efficiently amid supply constraints. However, the announcement has raised concerns among citizens, particularly those who rely on uninterrupted gas access for daily needs.
Authorities have urged the public to cooperate and plan accordingly while assuring that efforts are being made to improve the overall supply situation.
Meanwhile, Sui Gas load shedding continues in various parts of Karachi. Gas supply remained suspended in several blocks of the FB Area and North Nazimabad, causing inconvenience to residents during the morning hours.
In addition, gas supply was also halted in Malir, Khokhrapar, Landhi, Orangi Town, and North Karachi, while load shedding affected areas including Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Nazimabad, Garden, and Liaquatabad.
