Actress Nimra Khan’s ex-husband has publicly announced their divorce on social media.
In a post on Instagram, Zain Hamid said, “I am confirming that I divorced Nimra Khan on July 17th due to irreconcilable personal differences. I have and had one intention to place any blame on anyone.”
He clarified that his first post, captioned “Finally peace, good riddance,” was in response to the uncalled-for social media posts.
He added, “As for the divorce, the dissolution has been filed, and the lawyers will handle the legal process. I wish Nimra nothing but the best. This is an amicable parting, equally difficult for a man as it is for a woman.”
A few weeks after the announcement of Nimra’s second marriage, rumours of her divorce began circulating. However, Nimra Khan never publicly confirmed the reports.
The wedding was held in Paris, and the actress uploaded photos of her Nikkah ceremony on Instagram.
The rumours escalated further when Nimra posted an emotional video of keeping it together during tough times.
The actress recently shared a video on Instagram that addresses domestic violence, saying, “We stand with you.”
Nimra Khan was previously married to UK-based Pakistani Raja Azam in April 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown. However, the pair parted ways after the actor’s claims of alleged domestic violence.
