Noman Ijaz shares how Surah Rahman became part of his journey

Noman said he did not want to spend his time repeatedly visiting hospitals or undergo the painful process of chemotherapy.

He would rather recite different prayers every night before going to sleep.

After people close to him learned about his cancer diagnosis, one of his good friends advised him to recite Surah Ar-Rahman. Noman followed his friend’s advice and began reciting the Surah. He said he has continued the practice ever since.

Speaking about its importance in his life, the actor said he believes Surah Rahman played a major role in helping him through his illness and recovery.

Noman also revealed that he underwent a successful operation in which doctors removed the tumour.

His first chemotherapy session was scheduled to begin on July 23, 2024.

However, just one day earlier, on July 22, doctors called him and gave him unexpected news.

According to Noman, doctors told him they could no longer find anything that required chemotherapy. As a result, he did not need to undergo the planned treatment.
