Attaullah Tarar lashes out at PTI

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has said that Pakistan Tehrik –e-Insaf (PTI) has nominated a Chief Minister who is a wanted criminal and is being brought to back terrorist elements.

Talking to the media, the Information minister accusing the PTI leadership of continuing to facilitate terrorists, claimed that the “chief of this anarchist group is sitting in jail.”

“We will not let the anarchist group succeed in their endeavour to destabilise the country, the Information Minister said.

Tarar said that a person sitting in prison is providing support to terrorist elements, while Ali Amin Gandapur was being told that he was “not effectively facilitating terrorism.”

The minister further alleged that Sohail Afridi had been brought in “to assist terrorist groups.”

Referring to the PTI founder’s past statements, Tarar said they clearly show “what kind of people they are.” He added that the group spreading unrest wanted to harm the country’s stability and institutions.

Tarar reaffirmed that the government would not allow terrorism or political chaos to take root again in Pakistan.

Attaullah Tarar termed the recent decision of a London court as a victory for Pakistan’s position. According to him, this decision failed some of the PTI’s statements.

The Information Minister said that the PTI’s dissidents have been humiliated all over the world.
