North Waziristan teenager, Abdul Rehman Khan Dawar, has made history by becoming the youngest person to clear ACCA at the age of 16.

Dawar hails from Miranshah town, North Waziristan. Along with this ACCA achievement, he also completed a bachelor’s degree from Oxford Brookes University, London.

He said that his achievement is a message for students in remote and underprivileged areas that lack of resources should not be a barrier to success.

Earlier, Dishaan Shah held this record; he became an ACCA Affiliate at the age of 17. Shah also studied at Oxford Brookes University, London.

“I gave my first ACCA paper when I was 14 years old. I was able to start early because my father was aware of a pathway that allows students to pursue ACCA at a younger age, the FIA (Foundations in Accountancy) route. This route requires completing three additional papers before transitioning into the main ACCA qualification”, said Shah.

The ACCA qualification is a globally recognised passport to success in accounting. As the world’s largest international accountancy body, ACCA equips you with the skills and knowledge employers seek. You can earn the prestigious “ACCA” designation after passing 13 exams, completing a practical experience program, and mastering ethics. ACCA members work across industries, from finance to public practice, and are recognised for their expertise worldwide.
