The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced new petroleum prices effective October 28, reducing the price of petrol by Rs3.19 per litre while increasing the price of high-speed diesel by Rs2.25 per litre.
Following the adjustment, the price of petrol has been reduced to Rs376.60 per litre, providing some relief to motorists and other consumers.
In contrast, the price of high-speed diesel has increased to Rs398.70 per litre, raising costs for diesel vehicle owners and sectors that rely on diesel-powered transport and machinery.
The latest revision brings mixed news for consumers, with petrol becoming cheaper while diesel prices move in the opposite direction.
The new rates will take effect on October 28, according to the announced price adjustment.
