Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has shared a fresh update on the ongoing military Operation Ghazb lil Haq, confirming significant losses inflicted on the Fitna Al Khawarij, Afghan Taliban.
In a message posted on X, Tarar said that 641 Afghan Taliban operatives have been killed, while more than 855 others have been injured since the start of the operation.
He further stated that 243 Afghan check posts have been destroyed, while Pakistani forces captured 42 posts during the operation.
According to the minister, 219 tanks, armoured vehicles and artillery guns belonging to the Afghan Taliban have also been destroyed.
Tarar added that 65 locations across Afghanistan have been effectively targeted through air operations, describing the strikes as part of ongoing efforts under Operation Ghazb lil Haq.
However, in the last week, security forces have successfully repelled multiple attacks under Operation Ghazab lil Haq in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), inflicting heavy losses on the Afghan Taliban.
Federal Minister for Information took to X, stating that in Balochistan, Afghan Taliban launched a physical attack on 16 different locations in the northern parts of the province, including Qilla Saifullah, Noshki and Chaman districts. In addition, fire raids were carried out at 25 locations targeting security posts.
All attacks were effectively repulsed with a total of 27 killed, while several others sustained injuries during the clashes.
