Oppo has launched the K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ in China, following numerous leaks.
Both models showcase a design tailored for gaming, featuring integrated cooling fans, LED lighting, and substantial silicon-carbon batteries that support rapid charging.
Oppo K15 Pro+ features
The Oppo K15 Pro+ is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that boasts a resolution of 1,272 x 2,772 pixels and a refresh rate of 165Hz.
This display can achieve a peak brightness of 1,800 nits and is complemented by an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, as well as a 16MP front-facing camera.
In contrast, the K15 Pro is fitted with a slightly smaller 6.59-inch AMOLED display that offers FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz.
It uses an optical fingerprint scanner and also features a 16MP selfie camera. Both models are designed with gaming in mind, incorporating built-in cooling fans and LED lighting.
Notably, despite the presence of active cooling, both devices by Oppo are rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance.
The K15 Pro+ is offered in Photodust (pink), Origin Grey (grey), and Cyber Wings (white). The K15 Pro is available in the same colors, in addition to an extra Golden Legend (black) variant.
Oppo K15 Pro gaming features
Audio: The device is equipped with an advanced stereo dual speaker system, meticulously co-tuned by OPPO’s Golden Ear Lab in collaboration with the Xinghai Conservatory of Music.
Camera: The camera system is led by a 50MP primary camera featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), complemented by an upgraded ultra-wide-angle lens. It also includes modern software capabilities such as live collage.
Software: Operating on the latest ColorOS 16, the K15 Pro offers improved ecosystem integration. Notable features encompass phone communication sharing, smartwatch information sharing, native headphone connectivity, and effortless note migration across devices.
Gaming Control: The device incorporates a built-in professional gamepad-grade gyroscope, ensuring accurate and responsive control during gaming sessions.
