Security forces stopped an attempted terrorist infiltration at the Pak-Afghan border in the area of Pishin, Balochistan.

During this intelligence-based operation, seven terrorists were killed, and two were injured.

The security forces neutralised the terrorist group and cleared the area at the Pak-Afghan border.

According to sources, this group, under the command of foreign commander Basir, was attempting to infiltrate.

The foreign commander is the mastermind behind the September 30 attack near the FC headquarters.

In September, 10 people were martyred, and 32 were injured when a bomb blast ripped through a busy street near Quetta’s FC headquarters.

After the blast, five armed militants attempted to storm the FC headquarters. Security personnel responded swiftly, preventing their entry and killing all five attackers outside the wall of the facility.

Heavy weapons, explosives, and ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists.

President Asif Ali Zardari termed the incident a “suicide attack”.

“The president has strongly condemned the suicide attack in Quetta carried out by the Fitna-al-Khawarij, the misguided extremists acting on India’s agenda,” a statement from the President’s Secretariat said.

“The president said that the elements serving the interests of Fitna-al-Khawarij and India cannot undermine Pakistan’s peace and stability. He commended the security forces for their timely and effective response, which foiled the malicious designs of the terrorists.”
