Basham Bachu was the key commander of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). According to media reports, Pakistan’s armed forces killed Basham Bachu during the recent conflict in Balochistan. The reports also confirmed that Pakistan’s security forces made BLA’s 12 attacks unsuccessful in different areas of Balochistan.
Several media reports confirmed that a lethal security operation by Pakistan’s armed forces is underway against the banned terrorist organisations, including BLA, BLF, BRA and others. After the attack by the BLA on Quetta and other areas of Balochistan, security forces have eliminated almost 177 terrorists so far.
Pakistan Army also killed two militants who were falsely declared “missing persons” by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee last year.

The Pakistan Army has eliminated two Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) terrorists.
These terrorists, previously falsely reported as “missing persons,” were neutralised in an operation, sending a clear message: the BLA cannot hide.
1.Burhan Baloch, son of Muhammad Jan Baloch, was sent to hell.
2.Another falsely declared “missing person,” Hafeezullah Muhammad Hasni, was also sent to hell.
Last year, the US State Department added BLA and its alias, the Majeed Brigade, to its Foreign Terrorist Organisation list.
“BLA was designated as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) in 2019 following several terrorist attacks. Since 2019, BLA has claimed responsibility for additional attacks, including by the Majeed Brigade,” said the department.
“In 2024, BLA claimed it had committed suicide attacks near the airport in Karachi and the Gwadar Port Authority Complex. In 2025, BLA claimed responsibility for the March hijacking of the Jaffar Express train travelling from Quetta to Peshawar, killing 31 civilians and security personnel and holding hostage over 300 train passengers.”
