Reports of Tirah Valley being evacuated on Army orders baseless: Ministry of Information

The government has taken notice of misleading reports claiming that Tirah Valley is being evacuated on orders of the armed forces, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said.

The ministry said these claims are baseless, malicious, and being spread for specific purposes.

The aim of such rumours is to create fear among the public, spread false information against security institutions, and serve personal or political interests.

The federal government or the armed forces have not issued any order to evacuate Tirah Valley, the ministry clarified.

Law enforcement agencies carry out operations against terrorist elements based only on intelligence information.

During such operations, full care is taken to ensure that the lives of peaceful civilians are not affected.

There is no need for, and no evacuation or migration of the population is being carried out, the ministry said.

It is also noteworthy that local residents have themselves expressed concern about the presence of militants and want peace and stability in Tirah.

The government has rejected reports claiming that people in Tirah Valley are being evacuated on army orders.

According to the Ministry of Information, these claims are baseless and misleading, aimed at spreading fear among the public.
