Web desk: Pakistan U19 has secured a spot in the U19 Asia Cup semi-finals with a win over UAE U19 during the Pak U19 vs UAE U19 match on Tuesday.
Pakistan Under-19s won the toss and chose to bat. The team was able to score 241 for 9 in 50 overs.
A target of 242 was set for the opponent team.
In reply, the UAE Under-19s struggled. They lost their last 7 wickets for just 29 runs and were all out for 171 runs only. The score was far behind the set target.
The game ended with Pakistan having a 70-run victory.

In a group match, Pakistan Under-19 defeated UAE Under-19 to secure a place in the semi-finals, as shown in the Pakistan National Under-19 Cricket Team vs United Arab Emirates National Under-19 Cricket Team match scorecard.

Pakistan Under-19s secured a comfortable win over UAE U19, with Abdul Subhan leading the bowling attack, taking four wickets for just 31 runs in 7.5 overs.
Mohammad Sayyam, Momim Qamar, and Ahmed Hussain contributed one wicket each.
After winning the toss, Pakistan captain Farhan Yousaf chose to bat first. The team finished their 50 overs at 241/9.
Pakistan got off to a solid start as openers Sameer Minhas and Usman Khan (21) put together 40 runs in nine overs before Naseem Khan broke the partnership by dismissing Khan in the 10th over.
Naseem struck again in his next over, sending back Ali Hassan Baloch for 2 runs.
Ahmed Hussain came in at number four and anchored Pakistan’s innings with crucial partnerships.
He shared stands with Sameer Minhas (44), Farhan Yousaf (20), Huzaifa Ahsan (23), and a 52-run partnership with Hamza Zahoor.
Hussain top-scored with 65 off 91 balls, hitting four boundaries, before being dismissed in the 47th over. Zahoor added 42 off 51 balls and remained until the third ball of the final over.
For the UAE, Yug Sharma was the most successful bowler with 3 wickets for 52 runs.
Naseem took two wickets. Muhammad Bazil Asim, Uddish Suri, and Zainullah Rehmani took one wicket each.
With this win, Pakistan joins India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh in the U19 Asia Cup 2025 semi-finals. The semi-final matchups will be decided after Wednesday’s group-stage game between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
