Sri Lanka batted first and scored 184 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Kamal Mishara starred with 76 runs, while Kusal Mendis added 40, and Dasun Shanaka remained unbeaten on 17.
For Pakistan, Abrar Ahmed took 2 wickets, with Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Saim Ayub picking up one wicket each.
In reply, Pakistan lost Sahibzada Farhan early for just 8 runs, and Babar Azam was dismissed for a duck.
The wicketkeeper batsman contributed 33, while Saim Ayub added 27. The chase was anchored by captain Salman Ali Agha, who remained unbeaten on 63, supported by Muhammad Nawaz’s 25, guiding Pakistan to victory.
Sri Lanka’s Dushmantha Chameera took 3 wickets, while Eshan Malinga and Wanindu Hasaranga claimed one wicket each. Muhammad Nawaz was dismissed after scoring 27 runs.
Pakistan Win Toss
Pakistan won the toss and chose to field against Sri Lanka in the T20I Tri-Nation Series. Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha said the team will try to continue their winning momentum.
Pakistan maintained their impressive form in the T20 Tri-Nation Series in Rawalpindi, winning three of their four matches so far.
The team beat Zimbabwe twice and Sri Lanka once, while both Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka have recorded one win each.
In other matches, Zimbabwe defeated Sri Lanka by 67 runs, and Sri Lanka later bounced back with a nine-wicket victory over Zimbabwe.
Pakistan’s consistent performances have placed them at the top of the points table, strengthening their chances of reaching the final.
Pakistan made two changes to their squad today, bringing in Salman Mirza and Abrar Ahmed in place of Naseem Shah and Usman Tariq.
