Pakistan Airports Authority new facilities for travellers

Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has introduced new facilities for travellers to make their journey easy and comfortable.

The PAA introduced a premium meet-and-assist service at Islamabad International Airport.

This new initiative by the PAA will make every passenger’s journey comfortable and fast. Through this new initiative, the travellers will be provided with the facility of pick and drop from their houses to the airport.

The PAA announced three different packages included in the new

initiative names “premium meet-and-assist service.”

The Director Commercial PAA, Rabia Salma, announced that the new service for the travellers is completely digital.

Rabia Salma also confirmed that the entire system will work on a digital basis, which will make it easier for passengers to complete the steps at the airport.

To benefit from this facility, passengers will have to fulfil an important condition, under which it is mandatory to make a booking at least 6 hours before arrival or departure from the airport.

This initiative is a step towards improving the quality of services at the airport and providing international-standard travel facilities to passengers.

Earlier, Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIAP) in Lahore was expected to experience relief as a new terminal approaches completion and is expected to become operational later this year.

According to officials, this project will increase the airport’s annual passenger capacity from 5 million to 10 million, helping alleviate congestion and improve overall efficiency.

Engineer Tauqeer Iqbal, the Project Director for AIIAP’s New Terminal, stated in an interview that the Rs26 billion project is set to be completed within the current year.
