ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Iraq have committed to enhancing their bilateral relations in the political and economic fields.
On Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar had a meeting with his Iraqi counterpart, Dr Fuad Mohammed Hussein.
The two leaders reiterated the fraternal relations between the two countries through the telephonic discussion.
In addition, they talked about how to enhance collaboration in different aspects.
They particularly emphasized the need to have high-frequency exchanges between the high-level officials in Islamabad and Baghdad.
Political and Economic Stability
Both ministers emphasized their readiness to improve participation in political and economic processes.
They also decided to facilitate closer people-to-people contacts to the advantage of the two nations. These were confirmed in a recent press release by the Foreign Office.
