Pakistan Army brought down Afghan Taliban drone in Balochistan

Afghan Taliban drone

Pakistan’s army has jammed and brought down an Afghan Taliban drone in Balochistan.

The drone was Chinese-made and is commonly used for spraying pesticides on crops.

Pakistan’s strong response continues against the unprovoked aggression by the Afghan Taliban regime.

The army has also destroyed an Afghan Taliban post in a border area using explosives, according to security sources.

Security sources said that on February 28, in broad daylight, Pakistani troops crossed the border fence near North Waziristan and advanced towards what was described as an Afghan Taliban central post inside Afghan territory.

Upon the approach of Pakistani forces, Afghan Taliban fighters reportedly fled the post, security sources said.

The Pakistani military subsequently took control of the central post. It cleared surrounding compounds during what was described as a “full-scale retaliatory action”, removing flags hoisted by the opposing side.

Sources maintained that the Operation Ghazab lil-Haq remains ongoing, with forces continuing to consolidate their positions in the area.

350+ Taliban killed

Security forces have killed at least 352 Taliban operatives, Information Minister Ataullah Tarar said.

Sharing an update on the operation, Tarar said more than 535 Taliban personnel were also injured in the attacks, and 130 enemy posts were destroyed during the ongoing operation.

Pakistani forces also seized 26 posts as 41 locations across Afghanistan were effectively targeted by air, he said, adding 171 tanks and armoured vehicles of the Taliban forces were also destroyed.
