Pakistan-Australia ODI series: Ticket sales open May 22

Ticket sales for the ODI series between Pakistan and Australia will begin on May 22. According to details, online ticket booking will open at 3:00 PM on May 22, while physical tickets will also be available the same day at 16 designated courier service express centres across the country.

According to media reports, ticket distribution centres include eight locations in Lahore, five in Rawalpindi, and three in Islamabad. The ODI series is scheduled to begin on May 30 in Rawalpindi, with the remaining two matches set to be played in Lahore.

The first ODI between Pakistan and Australia will be played in Rawalpindi on May 30, while the remaining two matches of the series will take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on June 2 and June 4.

Match officials for the Pakistan-Australia ODI series have also been announced. All three ODI matches will begin at 4:30 PM. For the convenience of fans, ticket prices will start from Rs 200.

PCB unveils match officials for three-match ODI series

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday unveiled the match officials for the upcoming three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia, to be held in Rawalpindi and Lahore from 30 May to 4 June.

Former Sri Lankan cricketer Graeme La Brooy, who played nine Tests and 44 ODIs for Sri Lanka between 1986 and 1992, has been appointed as the match referee for all three matches.

The officiating panel for the series includes ICC Elite Panel umpires Ahsan Raza of Pakistan, England’s Richard Kettleborough, and Sri Lanka’s Kumar Dharmasena.

For the first ODI at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on 30 May, Kumar Dharmasena and Pakistan’s Asif Yaqoob, a member of the ICC Emerging Umpires Panel, will serve as the on-field umpires. Richard Kettleborough has been assigned as the third umpire, while Faisal Khan Aafreedi will take on fourth umpire responsibilities.

In the second ODI at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on 2 June, Richard Kettleborough and Faisal Khan Aafreedi will officiate on the field. Kumar Dharmasena will act as the third umpire, with Asif Yaqoob named as the fourth umpire.

The final ODI, scheduled for 4 June at Gaddafi Stadium, will feature Kumar Dharmasena and Ahsan Raza as the on-field umpires. Richard Kettleborough will serve as the third umpire, while Pakistan’s Nasir Hussain, a member of the ICC International Panel of Umpires, will serve as the fourth umpire.
