Pakistan's Defence Minister warns of strong response to any Indian misadventure

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has warned that Pakistan will give a stronger response If India attempts any misadventure this time.

Speaking during a media talk in Sialkot, the defence minister said that Pakistan would succeed in its mediating role to promote lasting peace and stability. He stated that unity is important among Muslims, saying that the Ummah to follow the teachings and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and prayed for protection against conflicts and divisions.

The minister said the current situation demands unprecedented unity in the Muslim world and called for collective efforts toward reconciliation and harmony.

Responding to a question regarding a statement by Rajnath Singh, Khawaja Asif said that India could resort to another false flag operation. He added that during the previous conflict, India faced criticism from its own citizens, with questions raised over its performance despite its larger size.

He further stated that India had long considered its forces superior but faced a strong response from Pakistan, which, he said, would not be forgotten. Khawaja Asif said that that any fresh misadventure by India would get an even stronger response from Pakistan.

Earlier, the Pakistan Army shot down an Indian quadcopter in the Battal sector of Poonch along the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), security sources said on Tuesday.

According to sources, the Indian quadcopter was allegedly sent for surveillance purposes. The Pakistan Army responded in a timely manner and targeted the drone, bringing it down.

The wreckage of the drone was taken into custody by security agencies. Local residents also assisted in locating the debris.

Residents praised the Pakistan Army for downing the drone, stating that the armed forces are capable of giving a full and effective response to any Indian aggression and remain ready to defend the country.

Pakistan will continue to inform the international community about human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir, the Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said on Sunday.

Speaking at a seminar in Islamabad held to mark International Women’s Day, Andrabi said women often become silent victims during oppression and usually suffer more than men in situations involving human rights abuses.

He said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has made efforts to ensure that women’s rights remain highlighted in reports issued by the United Nations (UN).

‘You are our hope’: Kashmiri message to FM Asim Munir

In a viral video, a man in Budgam bazar can be seen travelling in a car and praising the the Cheif of Defence Forces, and the Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir.

In the video message, it can be heard that a young Kashmiri man is showing support for Pakistan and the Pakistan Armed Forces, according to the reports.

The young man also said in the video message that this Budgam bazar will soon be free from the forced occupation of the cowardly Indian army.

He also said that all the Kashmiri people, including children, mothers and Kashmiri sisters, are with Pakistan and the Pakistan Armed Forces.
