Pakistan is all set to make its historic debut in the FIFAe Nations League, signifying the nation’s inaugural involvement in FIFA’s global esports framework.
Pakistan will compete in the ‘eFootball Console’, which is one of the three titles included in the competition.
Six players have successfully qualified to represent Pakistan in FIFAe Nations League, and Shahzaib Raza has been designated as the team’s eSports manager.
The first week of qualifying is set to occur from April 14 to 16. Pakistan has been placed in Group A of the Asia (East) & Oceania Zone, where they will face off against Guam, Indonesia, Korea Republic, Myanmar, and Papua New Guinea.
President of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Syed Mohsen Gilani, has confirmed the country’s participation in the FIFAe 2026 season, emphasising that this is a significant step in ensuring Pakistan’s visibility on the international platform.
He further stated that the federation intends to fully leverage this opportunity and expects that it will foster the development of esports talent in Pakistan, especially in the realm of football gaming.
FIFAe reveals the 84 countries that will be competing
Countries from across the globe will assemble teams for the FIFAe Nations League, a competition conducted in Rocket League.
Although there is enough time before the qualified teams for the FIFAe Finals 2026 are determined, the 84 countries that have secured their spots on the Road to FIFAe Finals have been disclosed, showcasing nations from every corner of the world.
The graphic below illustrates these nations, highlighting several prominent countries such as the USA, UK, Brazil, Germany, France, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Finland, Norway, Poland, India, and the Netherlands, alongside a selection of smaller nations including Wales, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Cyprus.
