The Pakistan-India Asian Games cricket final is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin, Aichi, Japan.
Speaking after the victory in the semifinal, Pakistan cricket team captain Sahibzada Farhan said the team is prepared to face either India or Sri Lanka in the final. Now it has been confirmed that India has defeated Sri Lanka and Pakistan will face India in the final.
Farhan further said that it doesn’t matter who wins between India and Sri Lanka. Both are good teams. Cricket is unpredictable. We will wait for the final and plan according to whichever team comes through, whether it’s India or Sri Lanka. We will play good attacking cricket.

In the last final that Pakistan and India played together, Pakistan scored a huge target of 338 runs at the loss of 4 wickets. In the second innings, the Pakistani bowlers also played very well. They dismantled the Indian batting at just 158 runs.
Before that, Pakistan also met India in the final of the 2007 T20 World Cup. Pakistan lost that match. In that match, India batted first and gave Pakistan a target of 157 runs at the loss of 4 wickets. On the other hand, Pakistan was able to make 152 runs but was bowled out in the last over of the match.
As of now, Pakistan and India have both won one final against each other. This match will decide who will get a lead in winning the finals against each other.
