Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi said on Friday that the upcoming match against India is a big chance for Pakistan players to deliver a strong performance and beat their traditional rivals in Colombo on February 15.

Travel agents have also reported a sharp increase in bookings over the past few days. Both flight tickets and hotel prices have gone up.

“Airfares have risen noticeably, and hotel rates have been adjusted upwards due to the heightened demand,” said one travel agent.

Experts add that showers are more likely in the evening. Around 2.1 mm of rain is expected in Colombo at 6:00 PM.

If the match is completely washed out, ICC rules give one point each to Pakistan and India.

Travel to Sri Lanka to watch Pakistan cricket

Fans can travel to Sri Lanka for the match by applying for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA).

Pakistani citizens cannot enter Sri Lanka visa-free. The ETA is an online approval for short visits for tourism, business, or transit.

Once approved, visitors get a 30-day visa on arrival with double entry allowed.

The ETA does not require passport copies, photographs, or in-person verification.
