Foreign Office spokesperson, Tahir Hussain Andrabi, in his response to the remarks made by the Indian Foreign Minister about Pakistan, said that Pakistan strongly rejects the Indian Foreign Minister’s irresponsible allegations.

In his statement, the spokesperson said that India is once again trying to divert attention from its worrisome role in destabilising the region and promoting terrorism. He said that there is documented evidence regarding the support of terrorist activities and India’s complicity, particularly in Pakistan.

The spokesperson added that the Kulbhushan Yadav case is a clear example of organised, state-sponsored terrorism against Pakistan.

In addition, the repeated incidents of cross-border killings, destructive operations carried out through proxy elements, and providing covert support to terrorist networks are highly concerning.

Moreover, he mentioned that this behavior aligns with the extremist ideology of Hindutva and the violent tendencies of its supporters.

The spokesperson also added that India continues to maintain its illegal and violent military occupation of Jammu and Kashmir, and Pakistan remains committed to providing full political, moral, and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people’s legitimate struggle to achieve the right to self-determination in accordance with the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions.

Besides this, he stated that the Indus Waters Treaty is an international agreement concluded in good faith and with notable sacrifices. Any unilateral violation of this treaty by India would harm regional stability and raise questions about its claims to respect international legal obligations.

Andrabi expressed that Pakistan will take all necessary measures to protect its legitimate rights under the agreement.
