It is possible that this year the holy month of Ramzan in both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will be beginning on the same day. According to astronomers the first of Ramzan can be on February 19 in both countries.
According to astronomy experts the moon for the 1447th Ramzan will be visible on February 17 2026. However, it is interesting to note that by February 17 the moon will not be visible in any country of the world.
According to astronomy experts on February 18 the moon will be easily visible in many countries including Pakistan. In Makkah, Islamabad, Karachi and Peshawar the moon will be visible on the same day.
The moon will be easily visible on these locations on this date.
The astronomy experts predict that if the moon is visible on February 18 then the holy month of Ramzan will start in both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on February 19 2026.
Ramzan Relief Package
It is also expected that the Federal government will be announcing its Ramzan Relief Package soon, its aim is to increase the financial burden of low-income households ahead of Ramzan 2026.
A special meeting has been called at the Prime Minister’s house in this regard. The package will be formally unveiled by Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif. The initiative will include measures to improve access to essential good during Ramzan.
Other than this the authorities in Lahore have also announced a Ramzan Bachat Bazaar which will provide relief to citizens with discounted food items ahead of the holy month.
The Ramzan Bachat Festival will be held at Jilani Park from February 13 to 15, 2026, officials said. The initiative aims to help families manage household expenses by offering essential commodities at reduced prices.
