Web desk: Lieutenant General Syed Aamer Raza, Chief of General Staff (CGS) of the Pakistan Army, called on General Fayyadh Bin Hameed Al-Rowaily, Chief of General Staff of the Royal Saudi Armed Forces, in Riyadh, as per a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual strategic interest, focusing on strengthening bilateral defence cooperation, enhancing interoperability, and advancing collaboration under the Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement (SMDA), as stated by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The officials reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening the long-standing fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Aimed at promoting regional peace, stability, and self-reliance.
A Special Meeting of the Pakistan-KSA Bilateral Defence Industrial Forum was also held, with Pakistan’s tri-services delegation led by Lieutenant General Syed Aamer Raza and the Saudi side headed by H.E. Mr Khalid Al Biyari, Assistant Minister of Defence for Executive Affairs.
The delegations reviewed the progress of ongoing defence cooperation projects and explored new opportunities for joint ventures in emerging technologies in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Lieutenant General Raza reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued support for building the capacity of the Royal Saudi Defence Forces.
The Saudi leadership acknowledged Pakistan’s commitments, achievements, and sacrifices in counter-terrorism efforts, as well as its vital contributions to regional peace and stability.

DG ISPR Holds Interactive Session
Previously, the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, held a special session with students and teachers from several educational institutions to discuss current affairs and military matters.
The session included participants from the Convent of Jesus and Mary, Beaconhouse, and Roots School Systems, providing a platform for open dialogue on Pakistan’s operational military activities and internal security situation.
During the meeting, the principal of the Convent of Jesus and Mary expressed gratitude for the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces.
Students and teachers also shared their views, with many expressing pride and appreciation for the opportunity to interact directly with military leadership.
Students highlighted their respect and admiration for the armed forces, emphasising their willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice for the nation’s safety.
