Pakistan, on Friday secured a dominant 5-0 win against Thailand in the Asia Pacific Padel Cup (APPC) 2026 in Manila, Philippines.
The team delivered a strong performance, with wins in all five ties in all categories including men’s, women’s and mixed categories.
During the intense Pakistan vs Thailand match, players Abdullah and Muhammad achieved 6-3, 6-2 wins over Kavi and Wongsathorn.
On the other hand, Muhammad and Farhan secured impressive 7-6, 7-5 in a tough match against Stefano and Joel.
Women’s matches saw Sheeza and Asfa deliver exceptional powerplay against Anais and Thassha, winning 7-6, 6-3.
The Pakistan team’s Muhammad and Asfa successfully defeated Kridchaya and Chattida 6-1, 7-6. Later on, Huzaima and Meheq won over Anais and Joel 7-6, 6-2.
Now, Pakistan has secured wins over Thailand and South Korea in the Asia Pacific Padel Cup 2026. The team is making a name for itself in Group A with a flawless record.
Pakistan successfully defeats South Korea 5-0 in APPC 2026
The development comes after Pakistan recorded a 5-0 win against South Korea in the Asia Pacific Padel Cup 2026 opener in Manila.
The country secured a winning streak across men’s, women’s and mixed categories.
During the opener against South Korea, Huzaifa Abdul Rehamn and Huzaima Abdul Rehman successfully defeated HongBeom Min and Sangho Park in straight sets 6-2, 6-1.
As the tournament progressed, Muhammad Aamil Asif and Farhan Mustafa carried the Pakistan team against opponents Woojae and Hunhee 6-0, 6-3 in straight sets.
Huzaima Abdul Rehman along with Meheq then finalised the whitewash with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Korean opponents, Junhyeok and Yerim.
