Islamabad: On the invitation of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan will participate in the Future Minerals Forum to be held in Riyadh.
According to several news reports, Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik met with the Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki. The discussion focused on cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in minerals and energy.
Ali Pervaiz Malik stated that Pakistan will actively participate in the Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh this month at the invitation of Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan will set up its pavilion at the Future Minerals Forum under the name “Pakistan the Mineral Marvel.”
Petroleum Minister further mentioned that 13 Pakistani government and private mineral companies will be part of the forum.
The Pakistan Pavilion will highlight the vast potential of the country’s mineral resources, and the pavilion in Riyadh will serve as a precursor to the Pakistan Mineral Investment Forum 2026 to be held in April.
The Saudi ambassador said that they welcome Pakistan’s participation in the Future Minerals Forum, which will open new avenues for cooperation in minerals. There are extensive opportunities for Pakistan-Saudi collaboration in minerals and energy.
