RAWALPINDI: Pakistan have won the toss and decided to field first against Sri Lanka in the third and final ODI at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium today.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka are currently going head to head in a three-match ODI series, led 2-0 by the home side, with the third and final fixture set to be played today.
Following the ODI series, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe will feature in the T20I tri-series, scheduled to be run from November 18 to 29, with matches scheduled in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
In the second ODI, Pakistan beat Sri Lanka and secured a convincing win in the series.
In the match played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Pakistan achieved the target of 289 runs against Sri Lanka in 49 overs for the loss of 2 wickets.
The highlight of the match was Babar Azam’s brilliant and unbeaten century, while Mohammad Rizwan remained not out with 51 runs.
Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub returned to the pavilion after scoring 78 and 33 runs, respectively. With this victory, Pakistan has taken a decisive 2-0 lead over Sri Lanka.
