On Saturday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a 15-player squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 and the upcoming tri-series tournament in Ireland. The all-rounder Fatima Sana will be captaining Pakistan in both events.
Both the events will be having the same squad as the team is set for a hectic international campaign ahead of the global tournament in England and Wales.
Pakistan will initially play the tri-series in Dublin from May 28 to June 4 with hosts Ireland and the West Indies.
The national side will play four matches in the event before it embarks on the Women’s T20 World Cup, which will run from June 12 to July 5.
Eyman Fatima, Natalia Pervaiz, Rameen Shamim, Saira Jabeen and Tasmia Rubab are all making their maiden World Cup appearance in the T20 World Cup.

Fatima Sana, 24, meanwhile, will play her third World Cup and assume the leadership of the Pakistan side after also captaining in the 2024 edition.
After a 3-0 whitewash of Zimbabwe in Karachi earlier this year, Pakistan is going into the tri series and the tournament with confidence.
The team will also face Sri Lanka and Scotland for warm up games on June 6 and 9 in Derby.
Pakistan will be opening their World Cup campaign against an opening match against India at Edgbaston on June 14.
In the group stage they will play South Africa, Bangladesh, Australia and the Netherlands.
Wahab Riaz will be assigned as mentor and head coach and Ayesha Ashhar will be the team manager.
