Famous personalities and celebrities from Pakistan’s media industry have also become fans of PM Shehbaz and Field Marshal Asim Munir. They reacted to the recent ceasefire between the United States (US) and Iran that was brokered by Pakistan today, bringing stability to the chaotic world situation.
Expressing their views on social media, various artists said that Pakistan has always played a positive and constructive role in establishing peace in the region.
They said that the reduction in tension between important countries like the US and Iran is a welcome development. In which Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts are commendable.
Former Pakistani Cricketer Shahid Afridi has also taken to the social media platform X to express gratitude.
He stated that, “Islam is ‘peace’; hence Pakistan the peacemaker.”

He applauded the Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and the Deputy PM and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, for leading with ‘clarity and purpose’.

Actor Ahsan Khan, while appreciating Pakistan’s effective diplomatic efforts in making the ceasefire possible, said that it is an honour for all Pakistanis and we should thank Allah for it.
‘Allah has honoured us. The world will remember this, and Pakistan comes before everything,’ he said.
He also thanked the government of Pakistan for accomplishing this feat.

Famous singer Farhan Saeed also thanked Allah and called it a major diplomatic success for Pakistan.
He expressed hope that a permanent ceasefire would be established. While also raising the question of ‘why Pakistan could never get the Nobel Peace Prize’.
