Bondi Beach attack: Pakistani citizen unveils Indian propaganda

Pakistani citizen unveils Indian propaganda

SYDNEY: Naveed Akram, a Pakistani citizen who is residing in Sydney, has made a video statement. He highly criticised a dreadful event that took place at Bondi Beach.

The gunfire accident cost several lives. Mr. Akram has shown his generous regret to the victims and their families.

Nevertheless, the primary purpose of making the video was to provide an answer to a personal serious problem.

Mr. Akram is a man who has the same name as one of the alleged shooters of the incident.

According to him, the media reports described one of the offenders as Naveed Akram. This poor coincidence of names led to great grave charges.

Therefore, some Indian social media pages abused the circumstances to disseminate false information. Mr. Akram had not given his permission to use his picture on Facebook, as accounts, which are mainly located in India, did this.

They even said that he was the shooter of the attack. He is making it very clear that he is another individual.

Mr. Akram is the owner of a rental business in Sydney, where he has resided since 2018. His Master’s degree was done in Australia.

He categorically refuted any relationship with the violence or the perpetrator. Mr. Akram also requested the public to disregard this evil propaganda.

He emphasised that the false information posed a life-threatening danger to his life. The false claims mean he is no longer able to venture out in a safe manner.

He requested the viewers to report any such misleading posts to him. Moreover, he also asked the general people to stop spreading such lies.
