Pakistan’s men’s and women’s cricketers have shared Eid-ul-Fitr greetings with fans, marking the end of Ramzan with messages of goodwill and celebration.

In a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board, members of the national men’s team extended their wishes to supporters across the country and abroad.

White-ball captains Shaheen Shah Afridi and Salman Ali Agha were among those featured in the video.

Afridi wished fans a happy Eid and encouraged them to celebrate with their families.

Messages from across the squad

Several other players also shared greetings, including Mohammad Rizwan, Haris Rauf, Sahibzada Farhan, Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Faheem Ashraf.

Young players such as Saad Masood, Abdul Samad, Shamyl Hussain and Maaz Sadaqat were also part of the message.

Meanwhile, former captain Babar Azam marked the occasion by sharing pictures from his Eid celebrations on social media.

Women cricketers wishing Eid

Pakistan’s women cricketers also extended Eid wishes in a separate video shared by the board.

Players including Sidra Amin, Muneeba Ali, Nashra Sandhu and Tuba Hassan conveyed their greetings to fans.

Upcoming events

The women’s team is currently on a short break and is due to return to action in May for a T20I tri-series involving the West Indies women’s cricket team and Ireland women’s cricket team.

The series will serve as preparation for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.

The men’s team, meanwhile, will next feature in the Pakistan Super League season 11, which is scheduled to run from late March to early May.

The tournament will include eight teams, with defending champions Lahore Qalandars set to play the opening match against Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen.
