The previous year marked the deaths of several notable personalities. Here is a recap to recall their memories.
Sana Yousuf
Young Pakistani digital creator Sana Yousuf from Chitral was murdered in broad daylight in Islamabad in May 2025.
According to media reports, one of her friends entered her house in Islamabad and shot her to death.
Umar Shah
The news of the sudden death of Pakistani child star Ahmed Shah’s brother, Umar Shah, in September left fans shocked. According to her family, he fell ill and was taken to the hospital, where, unfortunately, he died.
Piyari Maryam
The famous TikToker Piyari Maryam died on December 4, 2025, due to complications during her childbirth. She gave birth to twins and passed away two days later due to excessive bleeding.
Chef Zakir Qureshi
Famous Pakistani chef Zakir Qureshi died in April at the age of 58. He was a star chef and gained popularity through his show on HUM Masala TV.

Actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali died mysteriously in her apartment in Karachi; the cause of her death is still unknown. Her body was found at her residence in Defence Phase 6, Karachi.

Ayesha Khan
Prominent Pakistani actress Ayesha Khan passed away in June 2025 at the age of 77. Her body was recovered from her flat in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.
Anwar Ali
Senior actor and comedian Anwar Ali passed away in September. He was suffering from kidney disease and stroke.
Uzair Abbasi
Actor Shamoon Abbasi’s uncle, Uzair Abbasi, passed away on October 30, 2025. Uzair Abbasi was known for his roles in the drama serials ‘Sar-e-Raah’ and ‘Inteqam’.
Bina Masroor
Pakistani TV actress and educationist Bina Masroor passed away in December at the age of 67. She was known for her brilliant acting in dramas like Banjara, Betian, Tadap, Ishq Nahi Asan, Aangan, Agar and Jaan-e-Jahan.
