A seventh-grade student in Karachi has created a smart stick for visually impaired individuals.

Radhe Krishna said he developed the idea after watching a video online.

He built multiple prototypes before finalising the latest version of the stick.

The smart stick is priced at Rs. 15,000, significantly higher than a regular white cane.

He has planned to add more advanced features, including GPS-based audio navigation and improved balance by reducing the size of the attached control box.
