The Ministry of Interior has strongly rejected all the news and claims regarding the deportation of Pakistani workers from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The authorities have called the news regarding the Pakistani nationals being deported from the UAE a malafide reporting.

According to the post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Ministry of Interior said, “Having gone through the details and data, it is necessary to state that all such reporting is malafide and part of vicious propaganda by vested interests. No country or sect-specific deportations from any country, including the UAE, are being carried out.”

The Ministry explained that deportations, if any, are a routine process in line with the host country’s regulations and legal system, violations of their laws and overstays / illegal documentation.

The post further stated that those Pakistani nationals, having fulfilled host country visa and work-based requirements, continue to visit / access work visas in the UAE and other friendly countries without prejudice.

“Fake news being paddled to the contrary, along with social media posts, is malicious and fabricated with a purpose to serve ulterior motives”, said the Interior Ministry.

The officials of the Ministry said that any issue or access with any Pakistani national who faces a problem in a foreign country is always taken up on a case-by-case basis with the concerned country through established foreign office channels.

Govt announces new petrol price

The government increased the petrol prices by Rs14.92; the new petrol price is Rs414.78.

On the other hand, the government increased the diesel prices by Rs15, and the new diesel price is Rs 414.58.  

Earlier, the federal government increased the petrol price by Rs6.51 per litre.

The government also increased the diesel prices by Rs19.39.

The government announced the increase after the prices of petroleum products rose in the international market.

After the increase in petrol prices, the new petrol price in the country is Rs399.86. Similarly, after the increase in diesel prices, the new diesel price is Rs399.58.
