The star squash player of Pakistan, Mehwish Ali, was rushed to hospital after she sustained an injury during a match.
Mehwish suffered an injury after colliding with the other player during the semi-final of the Czech Junior Open 2026.
The incident occurred when Mehwish was in the run for Girls U17 semi-final in Prague where she is representing Pakistan in the World Squash Federation (WSF) Junior Gold Circuit.
The squash star was on the lead of 2–1 in the matches. She stayed on the ground for good long time; however, she was later transferred to a hospital where she was admitted in ICU.
