Only terror hideouts hit, no civilians targeted by Pakistan’s strikes

Pakistan's strikes

In the context of terrorist activities carried out in Pakistan by Fitna al-Khawarij elements present in Afghanistan, Pakistan targeted the hideouts of Fitna al-Khawarij located in Afghanistan.

This operation was conducted on the basis of credible intelligence against Fitna al-Khawarij and other affiliated terrorist groups that have, from time to time, claimed responsibility for attacks carried out in Pakistan.

The operation was carried out against those terrorists who, after committing attacks on the people of Pakistan and security forces, had taken refuge in Afghanistan.

In this regard, the impression that Afghan civilians or security forces were targeted is completely false and propaganda.

In these operations, seven hideouts of Fitna al-Khawarij located at four sites in Nangarhar, Khost, Paktika, and Paktia were targeted on the basis of credible intelligence.

As a result of these operations, there are reliable reports of the killing of operational-level leadership of Fitna al-Khawarij. In addition, there are reports of multiple terrorists being killed at these centers of Fitna al-Khawarij.

Pakistan has raised the issue of the presence of Fitna al-Khawarij and its affiliated sub-terrorist groups in Afghanistan with the Afghan Taliban regime, supported by verified information and complete evidence.

In the absence of serious efforts from Afghanistan, Pakistan carried out this operation in view of its national security requirements.

Pakistan hopes that the Afghan Taliban regime, keeping in view matters related to Pakistan’s security, will extend full cooperation to eliminate these terrorist groups from its territory.

These terrorists who target innocent civilians and mosques have no connection with Islam.
