During the jirga, all parties agreed on a joint action plan to combat terrorism across the province.

Participants strongly condemned terrorist activities and pledged to use every available legal means to eliminate the menace.

The leaders emphasised the need to prioritise national security over politics, calling for a united front against terrorism.

Chief Minister stated that the government would fully implement the jirga’s recommendations to eradicate terrorism and ensure lasting peace in the region.

He also urged political leaders who are part of the federal government to support the provincial administration in resolving Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s ongoing challenges.

A peace jirga of all political parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was held. In which the government and opposition parties agreed to adopt a joint strategy against terrorism.

The participants of the jirga strongly condemned the terrorists and expressed their determination that all available resources would be used to completely eradicate terrorism.

According to sources, security-related issues were discussed in detail in the peace jirga. And it was emphasised that an effective strategy should be adopted to deal with a serious issue like terrorism, going beyond political affiliations.

The participants said that all parties need to work together for peace and stability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so that the scourge of terrorism can be eradicated forever.

Addressing the meeting, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi said that the provincial government would fully implement the suggestions presented by the peace jirga to eradicate terrorism.

He said that cooperation between the people, political leadership and law enforcement agencies is indispensable for establishing lasting peace in the province.
