Petrol prices are expected to remain unchanged, for the week starting July 11, in Pakistan despite the rising global rates due to escalating tensions between the US and Iran.

The petrol prices are all set to be revised tomorrow night, as part of weekly review mechanism. The new rates will come into effect from July 11.

Last week (July 4) the government reduced the prices by Rs1.97. Currently the petrol prices in Pakistan are Rs297.53 per litre while High-Speed Diesel (HSD) is retailing at Rs309.50 per litre and High-Octane (Euro 5) is available at Rs340.00 per litre.

According to sources, the government is unlikely to make any changes in the fuel prices for the next week.
