How to claim Rs2000 petrol subsidy in Sindh?

The government of Sindh has recently announced a petrol subsidy for bikers, giving them Rs2000 relief.

The statement was made by the Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, while he was addressing a press conference today.

The new scheme will allow the bike owners to claim Rs2000 to get petrol in their bikes.

How to claim Rs2000 petrol subsidy?

The motorcyclists who want to pursue claiming the amount of Rs2000, need to follow the following steps:

  • Bike owners must get their bikes registered with the Excise and Taxation Sindh digital application by providing valid and accurate CNIC information along with the bank account details, if any.
  • If your bike is not registered in your name, you have to get it done within the time span of 15 days.
  • The ownership transfer will be free of cost, charging zero rupees to ensure transparent access to the facility.
  • The payment of Rs2000 for each bike will be transferred to the respective bank accounts as provided by the applicants.
  • The transfer of the amount will be carried out between April 15 and April 20, 2026.

Petrol price in Pakistan today 2026

The Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, while addressing the nation yesterday, announced a major cut in the price of petrol.

He announced a deduction of Rs80 in the petrol levy, saying that this step has been taken to ease the burden on the common people.

PM Shehbaz said that this levy will remain in effect for one month.

He also stated that a subsidy of Rs100 will also be provided to the bikers.

He said that the increase in global crude oil prices has also affected Pakistan, and the rise in petroleum prices has increased difficulties for the common man.

Shehbaz Sharif said that even the developed and strong nations are dealing with the fuel crisis.
