PM announces Rs50 lac to each family of Tarlai suicide incident victims

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced Rs 50 lakh for the family of each victim of the Tarlai suicide incident.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the tragic terrorist incident in Tarlai and stated that the entire nation shares the grief of the victims’ families. He described the Tarlai attack as an evil act and urged the nation to remain united in the fight against terrorism.


He visited the tragic incident site and held a meeting with relatives of the martyrs. The Prime Minister praised the bravery of Aun Abbas, a young man who confronted the attacker. ‘The nation will remember the sacrifice of Aun Abbas in golden letters,” he said.

In recognition of his bravery, the Prime Minister announced a financial grant of Rs 10 million for the family of Aun Abbas. Families of the other martyrs will receive Rs 5 million each, and the injured receive Rs 3 million each.

He condemned the attack as an attempt to sow division among Muslims. “The evil conspiracy to divide Muslims has failed. This incident was a conspiracy to create division, but the sacrifices of the martyrs will not go in vain,” he added.

During his visit, Shahbaz Sharif was briefed by the IG Islamabad on the progress of the investigation into the terrorist incidents. He also met individually with the families of the victims and offered Fateha for the martyrs’ high ranks.
