Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif is likely to address the nation today. According to the media reports, PM Shehbaz Sharif will announce new petroleum prices in the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked the US and Iran for agreeing on peace talks.
PM Shehbaz also praised Field Marshal Asim Munir for peace efforts between the US and Iran.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reduced the petrol prices by Rs 12 and diesel prices by Rs 135. After the PM’s announcement, the new petrol price is Rs 366, and diesel prices in the country are Rs 385 per litre.
It is important to mention that the earlier announced subsidy by the federal government for bikers will remain intact.
The Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, has said that the ceasefire between the US and Iran is, by the grace of Allah, a historic success of Pakistan.
The PM said that today is a very significant and historic day for Pakistan. Adding that we thank Allah Almighty for it.
PM Shehbaz plays key role in the ceasefire
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir played a key role in securing the ceasefire between the US and Iran. PM Shehbaz Sharif also praised the efforts of Field Marshal Asim Munir and his team for the peace talks between the US and Islamabad.
PM Shehbaz also said that Pakistan will continue its struggle for lasting peace in the region.
