Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed the nation today, and he discussed several things in his address. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan as a country is trying for peace in the region in this time of crisis.
The Prime Minister condemned the US-Israel attacks on the brother country, Iran. He also condemned the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Syed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, while addressing the nation.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said during his address to the nation that there is a war going on in the entire Middle East. He condemned the attacks on Gulf countries as well. Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attacks on Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait.
PM Shehbaz addressed the nation
During his address to the nation, PM Shehbaz showed concern about the increase in oil prices worldwide. He said while addressing that oil prices have increased worldwide, and the situation has also affected Pakistan.
He warned that if the situation worsens, oil prices could go out of control, noting that crude oil has already crossed $100 per barrel.
However, PM Shehbaz during his address assured that the government will try its best to control the petrol prices in the country.
Work from home policy in country
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said while addressing the nation that schools will open for four days a week after the end of this week. On the other hand, Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz announced that the schools, universities and colleges will be online from March 10 to March 31.
She further announced that the exam’s schedule will not be changed.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif confirmed while addressing the nation that 50 per cent of the staff will work in government and private offices.
