Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deepest condolences to the victims of the Bondi Beach terrorist attack.

In a post on X, he said, “My deepest condolences to the victims of the tragic terrorist attack at Bondi Beach, Sydney. Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. We stand in solidarity with the people and Government of Australia in this difficult time.”

He also tagged Anthony Albanese, the Australian PM.

12 people have died, including one gunman, following the shooting incident.

The second alleged shooter is in critical condition.

More than 1,000 people were attending an event on the beach celebrating Hanukkah.

Mass shootings in Australia are very rare, and the attack at Bondi is the deadliest incident in the country since the Port Arthur massacre in 1996.

Who is behind the Bondi Beach terrorist attack?

The terrorist behind the Sydney attack is Naveed Akram, an Afghan national.

He was a student at Sydney’s Al-Murad Islamic Institute.

Despite this confirmation that the terrorist was an Afghan, the Jerusalem Post wrongly blamed an innocent Pakistani for the terrorist attack.

The Israeli newspaper rushed to run a front-page story claiming the attacker was a 24-year-old Pakistani, ignoring basic journalistic standards.

Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the Bondi Beach shooting was an “act of evil antisemitism, terrorism that has struck the heart of our nation.”
