'All acts of terrorism against Pakistan unacceptable': PM Shehbaz visits GHQ

The Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, visited the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Friday.

The Prime Minister directed that zero tolerance be adopted against the nexus between Fitna al-Khawarij and the Afghan Taliban regime. As well as their disruptive activities.

He said that the actions of the Afghan Taliban regime and Fitna al-Khawarij against Pakistan were unacceptable.

He stated that under the leadership of the Chief of Army Staff and the Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan remains fully prepared at all times to safeguard the country.

He further stated that Pakistan knows well how to defend itself against any aggression.

The Prime Minister praised the professional capabilities of the Armed Forces of Pakistan for repelling attacks in border areas by the Afghan Taliban regime. And for carrying out a strong retaliatory response against terrorism.

He added that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces for the defence of the homeland.

DG ISPR holds press conference

DG ISPR said that the hideouts of Fitna al-Khawarij were targeted on the night of February 21 and 22.

He said that so far, 274 Khawarij have been killed and 400 have been injured. It was further informed that 73 posts have been completely destroyed, while 17 posts are occupied by the Pakistan Army.

The Prime Minister has been informed about all the progress of Operation Ghazb-lil-Haq.

The DG ISPR also stated that no civilians were killed in Afghanistan and that all destroyed posts were military targets involved in attacks against Pakistan.

According to DG ISPR, 115 tanks and armoured vehicles of the Afghan Taliban were destroyed. He said that Pakistan gave such an effective response that the whole world saw it.

Indian media is spreading lies about civilians killed in Ghazab lil-Haq, DG ISPR added. He also stated that Pakistan had fulfilled India’s desire for war in Bunyan-um-Marsoos, and is now fulfilling the Afghan Taliban’s.

Operation Ghazab lil-Haq

The security forces officially launched operation “Ghazab lil-Haq,” Righteous Fury, in response to unprovoked firing by the Afghan Taliban across multiple border sectors.
