Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif following their recent foreign visits. During the meeting, the Interior Minister briefed the Prime Minister on the outcomes of his successful trip and shared updates on the overall regional situation.
Both leaders discussed key developments and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s strategic position on the global stage.
Mohsin Naqvi congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the successful tri-nation tour. The meeting also discussed in detail the developments at the international level, the current security situation of the country and administrative matters.
The Prime Minister appreciated the diplomatic efforts of the Interior Minister and consulted on important national issues. While Mohsin Naqvi informed the Prime Minister about the agreements and meetings reached during recent foreign visits.
It is worth mentioning here that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Lahore after completing a three-country tour. Strict security arrangements were in place for his arrival.
During the visit, the Prime Minister held meetings with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Emir of Qatar, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, among other leaders. Shehbaz Sharif departed on a four-day foreign tour on Wednesday.
