PM Shehbaz leads provincial apex committee meeting in Quetta

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired a provincial apex committee meeting in Quetta on Thursday (today). Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir attended the session.

Similarly, Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti and Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail were also present at the meeting.

On the other hand, the Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar and the PM’s advisor on political affairs, Rana Sanaullah, also attended the meeting.

All the leaders present in the meeting will discuss the security situation in Balochistan.

PM Shehbaz said that the war will continue against terrorism until the elimination of the last terrorist in the region.

PM Shehbaz said that these sacrifices will bear fruit, and terrorism will be wiped out from our country.

Our eastern neighbour is playing a major role in supporting terrorists by providing funding and weapons, PM Shehbaz added.

PM Shehbaz confirmed the elimination of 54 terrorists during a security operation in the province.

Earlier, Field Marshal (FM) Syed Asim Munir visited the National Defence University (NDU) in Islamabad.

Addressing the graduates of the Security and War Course, the Field Marshal said that all terrorists would be eliminated using the full strength of the state.

FM Asim Munir said that the intelligence agencies of hostile countries had failed to weaken Pakistan.
