Police announces new jobs: How to apply

The Islamabad Capital Police has announced more than 1,600 job vacancies for eligible male and female candidates.

The recruitment drive includes 60 posts of Sub-Inspectors (SIs), 24 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), and 1,540 Constable positions.

Both men and women can apply for the announced positions, subject to meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Mandatory Documents

Candidates will be required to produce the following original documents at the time of the interview:

  • CNIC issued by NADRA
  • Academic certificates
  • Domicile certificate
  • Two passport-size photographs with a blue background
  • An affidavit duly countersigned by the relevant Deputy Commissioner for candidates applying against the minorities (non-Muslims) quota

Applicants are advised to ensure that all required documents are available in original form when appearing for the interview.

Earlier, the Government of Pakistan launched a new programme with the United Nations, the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) that can help to create better job opportunities.

The programme will support 20,000 people who are working in the health and care sector. This programme will help them improve their skills, find better jobs and access social protection.

Phases of the programme

The first phase of the programme will run from July 2026 to July 2027. During this period, the focus will be on improving the skills of 20,000 health and care workers.

  • Promoting equal opportunities for women
