Police restored order in Islamgarh and Chakswari after groups of violent protesters gathered at multiple locations.
According to details, demonstrators had gathered at five different sites and were carrying stones, bottles, and sticks. Through continuous and effective operations, police dispersed the gatherings and brought the situation fully under control.
During the crackdown, a total of 15 protesters were arrested. Police also recovered two weapons from their possession.
Authorities confirmed that the road has now been fully reopened for traffic. Adequate police personnel have been deployed across the area to prevent any renewed gatherings and to ensure the maintenance of law and order.
