The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced multiple job vacancies across various provincial departments, with the closing date for online applications set for February 18, 2026.
The advertisement, published on 1 February 2026, invites applications for positions on both a contract and a regular basis.
Most posts are open to candidates domiciled in Punjab, including men, women and transgender applicants, unless stated otherwise.
Punjab food authority, Price control and commodities management department
Several technical and administrative posts have been advertised on a three-year contract basis.
These include Government Public Analyst (BS-18), Assistant Director (Audit) (BS-17), Dairy Technologist (BS-17), Assistant Director (Budget and Accounts) (BS-17).
Senior Auditor (BS-16), Assistant Public Analyst (Category I and II), Assistant Food Safety Officer (BS-16), and Food Safety Officer (BS-17).
Most of these roles require a master’s degree in relevant fields such as food science, food technology, finance, accounting or related disciplines.
Relevant post-qualification experience is mandatory for many positions. A written test of 100 marks will be conducted where applicable.
Industries, commerce and investment department
The department has announced eight posts for Inspector of Boilers (BS-16), including one reserved for women.
Candidates must hold a diploma in mechanical engineering, a boiler engineer competency certificate, and relevant practical experience.
The posts are contract-based for three years and require candidates to be domiciled in Punjab.
Information, culture department
One post of Assistant Director (O&M) (BS-17) has been announced on a contract basis, extendable up to five years.
Applicants must have a degree in civil engineering along with three years of relevant experience in the public sector.
Mines, minerals department
Two vacancies for Secondary School Teacher (BS-16) have been announced for female candidates only. The positions are for girls’ schools in Sargodha and Khushab districts.
Applicants must hold a master’s degree in science subjects along with a professional education qualification such as B.Ed. or M.Ed.
Board of revenue, Punjab/ PDMA
Several IT-related posts have been advertised on a three-year contract basis.
These include Assistant Network Admin (BS-16), Software Developer (lump sum Rs500,000), and Database Administrator (lump sum Rs500,000).
The positions require degrees in computer science, IT, or related fields, along with relevant professional experience.
Board of revenue, Punjab/ Disaster management department (DMD)
The department has announced a senior-level IT Manager position with a lump sum monthly package of Rs1,000,000. Additional posts include Network Administrator and Inventory Control Officer.
These roles require significant experience in IT management, network administration and database systems.
PPSC, Lahore
One regular post of Law Officer (BS-17) has also been announced. Applicants must hold an LLB or LLM degree along with active legal practice experience, including High Court experience where required.
